Quick Release Back Blade has a self-contained power unit to keep itself isolated from any other plow power unit. It can also be operated from a central hydraulics system (i.e. clutch pump). It uses a double-acting 2” x 8” hydraulic cylinder to provide down pressure for scraping those areas where a front plow just can’t do the job efficiently.
Quick & Easy Hookup
Various sizes available: 7’, 7.5’, and 8’ widths (custom sizes are available).
FEATURES AND BENEFITS OF THE QUICK-HITCH, QUICK RELEASE BACK BLADE
Self-Contained Power Unit
The quick-hitch uses it's own power unit to keep itself isolated from any other plow unit. It can also be operated from a central hydraulics system (i.e. clutch pump)
The quick hitch has the same switch as on the cab's switch, but on the back blade to set the proper height for fast and easy hook up.
The Quick-Hitch uses a double acting 2" x 8" hydraulic cylinder to provide down pressure for scraping those areas where a gravity down front plow just won't do the job efficiently.
Various Sizes Available
The Quick-Hitch system is availalable in standard 7', 7.5', and 8' widths. Custom sizes also available upon request.
The four-arm design keeps the back blade moving in a straight up and down motion, as opposed to the common two-arm design, which creates an arc. This arc may potentially damage garage doors and other structures.
