MONROE'S NOW RENTS TOW DOLLIES!
When it comes to tow a car or other vehicle, the first priority is the safety of the vehicle. A Tow dolly rental is helpful when buying a new car, attending a motor show or move to a new home with more than one car. Renting a tow dolly can be an easy and economical way to transport your vehicle. A rented car dolly is designed to keep the front wheels off the ground, and its low height and longer ramp are ideal for accommodating vehicles with low clearance.
WHAT CAN TOW DOLLIES DO?
- Haul ATV's, motorcycles, snowmobiles, garden tractors and golf carts
- Use it as a small trailer
- Tow another vehicle behind a motor home or RV
- Race car towing
Before you make the decision to rent a tow dolly, here are a few things to consider for easier transporting:
· Your vehicle must have lockable steering. Check your owner’s manual to make sure your vehicle has this feature.
· A rented tow dolly cannot be used to tow mid- or rear-engine vehicles.
· Be sure that the tow dolly is attached to your towing vehicle before loading.
· Vehicles should be centered on the rented tow dolly and forward facing.
· Do not leave people, pets or possessions in a vehicle being pulled by a rented tow dolly.
· Be sure that the vehicle is stable by tightening tire straps before moving your tow dolly.
Monroe's is glad to offer another service to our customers - we are now renting out tow dollies! Please give us a call, or stop by, to check on availability and to schedule your rental. Our friendly staff will be glad to assist you in answering any questions you may have about renting and using the tow dolly. We will require a $175 deposite at the time of rental, which will be returned to the renter upon inspection of the tow dolly when it is returned to Monroe's. Check with your auto insurance provider for coverage on your vehicle/the tow dolly/ the vehicle being towed.
